Landscaper Workwear Guide 2024
As a landscaper in the UK, youāll be used to working in all kinds of weather conditions, operating heavy machinery, and putting some serious miles in daily. This diverse and physically demanding role requires workwear that is not only durable (cue the mud), but also practical.
For years weāve provided pro landscapers with comfortable and highly rated safety boots that are easy to take on and off (essential when access is via a clientās house). Plus, recently weāve been working on a new offer of quality, embroidered workwear - check out our latest collaboration on YouTube hereĀ (or below) to hear from happy customer Olly Gregson from Hardwood Landscapes.
Why Use Landscaper Workwear?
Ā
Landscaper Work Boots
Choosing the right work boots is crucial for landscapers. The boots should provide excellent support, protection, and comfort across different terrains, plus be easy to take on and off + keep clean and dry ready for another day outdoors.

Landscaping Boot Tips - Keep Your Boots In Tip Top Shape For Longer
When working outside in the UK,Ā there's every chance your boots will end up caked in mud, dusty and wet. To ensure your boots last as long as possible, and continue to keep you on your feet day after day, here are a couple of tips:
- Zip sided boots? Pull the zip ALL the way down when removing your boots. Removing your boots without the zip fully down puts stress on the teeth, and could damage the zip.
- Brush away dirt and debris from the zip and oil regularly to keep it gliding smoothly. For more detail around this, check out our zip tips video on YouTube here for more tips on cleaning and maintaining your boots.
- Buy a second pair of boots. This is so that the first pair can dry (naturally, away from a heater to avoid leather damage), and you're good to go in the meantime.

Landscaper Work Trousers
Work trousers are an essential part of a landscaperās wardrobe. They need to be tough, comfortable, and functional. Look for features like reinforcedĀ areas (those that wear away first), multiple lined pockets, and durable materials.
FeaturesĀ to look for:
- Reinforced Areas:Ā Protects against wear and tear.
- Multiple Pockets:Ā Provides ample storage for tools and accessories.
- Durable Materials:Ā Ensures longevity and resistance to damage.
