Overview
The Mongrel 940030 is a non-safety, elastic-sided dealer boot in premium full-grain leather — one of the newest Mongrels to reach the UK, and part of Mongrel’s premium non-safety range. To be clear, this is a non-safety boot: there’s no steel toe cap and no safety rating, so it’s built for comfort and everyday wear rather than PPE-regulated sites. Like the K9, it’s made from quality tough leather that moulds to your feet and gets more comfortable the more you wear it.
Its 3-piece leather design contours to the natural shape of your foot from the very first wear, making it more comfortable out of the box than most boots on the market. The classic Australian elastic-sided design is timeless — equally at home in the pub, on the farm or in everyday use — and a shock-absorbing outsole with an OrthoTec® innersole adds support and cushioning underfoot.

Because it’s non-safety, it’s ideal where you don’t need a protective toe cap. If your workplace requires steel-toe safety footwear, choose one of our Mongrel or Steel Blue safety boots instead.
Sizing & fit
These are built on a wide EEE last, so they suit wider feet well. Note that half sizes are wider, not longer — so if you’re between sizes, the half size gives you extra width rather than length. Available in UK 5–14. If the fit isn’t right, we offer free exchanges.

Is the Mongrel 940030 a safety boot?
No. It’s a non-safety dealer boot — it does not have a steel toe cap or an EN ISO 20345 safety rating. It’s designed for comfort and everyday wear. If you need a protective toe cap for your workplace, choose a rated safety boot such as the Mongrel 561, 461 or 545030.
How does the fit compare to a standard boot?
It’s built on a wide EEE last, so it runs wider than a standard-width boot — ideal if you have a broader foot. Half sizes add width rather than length.

Do you offer next day delivery?
Yes we do, for £6.50 and if you order before 2pm, you’re order should arrive the next day with Royal Mail or Parcel force.
Boot orders over £110 get free next day delivery. Steel Blue Boots and Mongrel Boots get free express postage.
How do I return or exchange my items?
We recommend for any exchanges, you purchase the size you're after and then return your current pair for a refund. This saves time waiting for your new item to arrive.
We know buying footwear and workwear online can be difficult, so we try to make returns as easy as possible. You arrange the return postage back to us, which is how we keep our express delivery free.

Do you ship to Europe and Ireland?
Unfortunately not, we do ship to Northern Ireland however due to brexit and the complications with shipping and then duties costs, we find it better for customers to try and find a local supplier as it will save you money on duties.
Northern Ireland customers do not have to pay duties as you’re part of the United Kingdom and postage is the same as the mainland.
My boots are faulty within the 6 month warranty period, what do I need to do to submit a claim?
