What can I say mmm more comfortable than my slippers and are not heavy After being on for 14hrs a day only feels like 14 minutes In fact 4 work colleagues have now got them Don't mess about thinking --- I've seen cheaper or better That's totally crap These guys at Big Boots are brilliant so don't worry just trust Ryan and Emma They're honest people and their items are top stuff

I was looking for a decent pair of boots ( the ones supplied by my employer are awful) that were hard wearing but comfortable and lightweight to use in my role as a HGV driver . Heard good things from a friend in Oz about Australian made work boots so thought I’d look into it. Found these guys and thought I’d give them a go. Have to say customer service is second to none, really helpful and personal. The boots are excellent, the most comfortable I have ever got for work, no blisters or having to wear them in, perfect comfort from day 1. Great for driving in and when I have to do shunting duties they are great as I do a lot of walking and they are really comfortable. Only 3 weeks in but no problems so far with them and from what I’ve seen from other reviews there won’t be. Really glad I came across this company, highly recommended

I bought myself a pair of the legend boots for site work so when it came to buying a new pair of boots for domestic there was only one sensible choice. As expected the fit and comfort out of the box was exceptional and they felt like a part of my foot. I’m a carpenter so my job can involve a lot of walking, climbing, crouching or just standing and planning with other trades and I have never yet found a position that is uncomfortable in theses or my legend boots. I’ve got walking boots that I’ve hiked mountains in Switzerland in that aren’t as comfortable as these.

Let’s not pretend that work boots are the most comfy types of footwear and I’ve tried dozens of pairs over the last 20 years and pretty much hated them all. So, when I got a new job as an HGV driver I began a quest to try and find a pair of work safety boots that wouldn’t kill my feet 24/7. My mate (he is nicknamed “Shoes”) told me about this website so I had a look. Although it was a fairly new company selling workwear, it seemed on point and I liked the look of the types and brands of boots they stocked.
I liked the look of the Hard Yakka 3056 (a boot brand from Down under) with side zip which is actually a brilliant design idea so I ordered my size. I had a small issue online (probably me being a galah) but a quick phone call and Ryan sorted me out a link to order and the boots appeared the next day. Now that’s bonzer service.

The boots themselves were better looking in the flesh and looked very well constructed. Now, I can’t lie, for the first few days of wearing them they felt a tad awkward but after day 5 it was like wearing a pair of favourite trainers. The memory foam insoles are a godsend. My feet got used to them after years of wearing hobnail type monstrosities. To take them off or put them on, all I do is use the zip (see, told ya it’s a brill design) and leave the laces permanently tied. They feel great to drive in and are spot on and true to size.
I had never heard of this boot brand before I went into the Big Boots website but for sure I’ll be back when I need more.
Cracking service all round and that’s my review, so back to my Sanger I go and then to yakka again.
